An interactive map that shows your curated trips, places, and routes — embeddable on any website with a single iframe snippet. Visitors can explore your content geographically, click through to individual trips, and discover everything you’ve published, all without leaving your site.

What the Map Shows

Your Map Widget displays:
  • All your public trips — routes, waypoints, and destinations across a beautiful interactive map.
  • Filtered collections — show only specific trips for a destination, campaign, or theme.
  • Custom styling — colours that match your website’s design, not Rooutie’s defaults.

Content

Choose what the map displays:
  • All Public Trips — every published trip on your account appears as an overlay on the map.
  • Specific Collection — limit the map to a curated collection of trips.
  • Region — filter to trips within a specific geographic region.

Style

Customise the map appearance to blend seamlessly with your site:
  • Map color theme — choose from available styles to match your site’s design language.
  • Marker and overlay colors.

Size

Set the exact dimensions for your map container:
  • Height (in pixels or percentage).
  • Width (in pixels or percentage).

Installation

  1. Go to Web Presence → Map Widget in your business dashboard.
  2. Configure the content and style options.
  3. Click Get Code to copy the generated HTML iframe snippet.
  4. Paste it into your website’s HTML wherever you want the map to appear.
Your map is live. Any new trips you publish automatically appear on the map — no code updates needed.

Map Widget Analytics

See how your embedded maps perform in Analytics → Map Widget. Track impressions (how many times it loaded), interactions (clicks, zooms, trip opens), and engagement over time. Use these insights to know which content is drawing the most interest from your web visitors.
