- Impressions — total number of times your map loaded and was displayed to a visitor.
- Interactions — clicks on trips, markers, and map elements. Every zoom, click, and tap.
- Engagement rate — the percentage of map loads that resulted in at least one interaction.
- Top content — which trips on your map are drawing the most clicks.
Reading the Data
Use map analytics to answer questions like:- Is my map actually being used? High impressions but low interactions means the map is loading but not engaging visitors. Consider repositioning it on your page or improving what trips are shown.
- Which trips get the most clicks? The ones performing well deserve more promotion — feature them on your landing page or social content.
- Is a particular site placement performing? If you have the map on multiple pages, compare which placement drives more engagement.
