Public Profile

Every Rooutie user has a public profile page — a shareable showcase of your travel history, published guides, and world footprint. Share the link with friends, add it to your social bio, or simply use it to reflect on everywhere you’ve been.

Your Profile Header

The top of your profile shows:
  • Profile picture — your uploaded avatar.
  • Display name and username — how the community knows you.
  • Bio — your personal travel introduction.
  • Stats — your trip count, countries visited, and follower numbers.
  • Social icons — clickable links to your connected Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and blog.

Your Interactive Travel Map

Below your header, a dynamic world map shows your travel footprint:
  • Visited countries — shaded based on the locations in your trips.
  • Trip markers — pins for specific locations you’ve added to your itineraries.
The map builds automatically from your trips — every destination you add populates your map without any extra steps. It’s one of the most satisfying things about planning trips in Rooutie: watch your world map fill in over time.

Your Published Trips

A browsable grid of all your public trips. Private trips don’t appear here — you control what’s visible. Visitors can filter your trips by country or region to find the content most relevant to them.

Who Sees Your Profile?

Your public profile is accessible to anyone with the link. Private trips, travel documents, and personal settings remain private regardless.

Building Your Profile

The more you plan and publish, the richer your profile becomes:
  1. Create trips and set them to Public in the trip menu.
  2. Add a bio and social links in Profile Settings.
  3. Upload a good profile photo — profiles with photos get significantly more engagement.
  4. Share your profile link with friends and on social media.
