Bookings Calendar

The Bookings Calendar is a timeline-based view of your itinerary that lays every step out against the clock. It is the best way to check for scheduling conflicts, set activity times, and see how your day flows from start to finish.

Accessing the Calendar

  1. Open any trip in the editor.
  2. Click the Calendar button at the top of the itinerary panel (the second of the three view modes).
The calendar switches to a day-by-day timeline view. Navigate between days using the day selector at the top.

What You See

Time Blocks

Every step in your itinerary is shown as a block on the timeline, positioned by its start time and sized by its duration. Steps without a time are shown at the top.

Activity Cards

Each place or activity shows:
  • Name and type icon.
  • Start time and end time.
  • Duration.
  • Booking status indicator (booked / not booked).

Flight Cards

Flights appear as dedicated timeline cards showing:
  • Departure airport code and time.
  • Arrival airport code and time.
  • Flight number and airline (if set).
  • The full duration block from departure to arrival.

Transport Sections

Ground transport steps (drive, walk, etc.) appear between activity cards, showing the estimated travel time between stops.

Managing Times

Setting a Start Time

Click on any step card to set or change its start time. The timeline updates immediately.

Adjusting Duration

Click on a step and select Set Time (or use the step menu → Set Time) to change how long the activity takes. The step block resizes in the timeline.

Day Start Time

The timeline begins from the Day Start Time you set in the Day Menu. By default this is 8:00 AM. Set it via the Day Menu → Set Day Start Time.

Booking Status

Each step shows whether it is booked or not:
  • A filled calendar icon means the step is marked as Booked.
  • Click the booking icon or use the step menu → Booking to toggle the status and add a confirmation number or booking URL.
The booking status is also visible in all other view modes (Less Info, More Info).

Tips for Using the Calendar

  • Schedule check: Use the calendar at the end of your planning to ensure you haven’t double-booked times or left unrealistic gaps between activities.
  • Flight alignment: After adding flights, check the calendar to see if your ground activities before/after the flight are achievable given the travel times.
  • Day start time: Set a realistic day start time for each day (e.g., later for days after a late flight arrival).
