# Social Links

Your Rooutie profile is a hub — and social links are the bridges that connect it to the rest of your online presence. Add your social media accounts once, and they appear automatically on your public profile, your Linktree page, and anywhere else Rooutie displays your brand identity.

## Supported Platforms

Rooutie supports seven major social platforms:

| Platform | Field |
| --------------- | ----------- |
| **Instagram** | Profile URL |
| **TikTok** | Profile URL |
| **YouTube** | Channel URL |
| **Twitter / X** | Profile URL |
| **Pinterest** | Profile URL |
| **Facebook** | Page URL |
| **Threads** | Profile URL |

## Adding Your Social Links

1. Go to **Business → Social Links** in your business dashboard.
2. Paste your profile URL into the relevant field for each platform.
3. URLs are validated as you type — you'll see an error if the format isn't correct.
4. Click **Save**.

That's it. Your social icons appear immediately on your public profile and Linktree page.

## Where Social Links Appear

* **Your public Rooutie profile** — clickable icons that open each platform in a new tab.
* **Your Linktree page** — displayed prominently in the brand header section.
* **Embedded planner** — your social links are accessible from within the embedded planning experience.

## Pro Tip

Social links are one of the first things visitors look at when evaluating whether to trust your brand. Keep them up to date and link to your most active accounts — a stale Instagram with 3 posts from 2021 doesn't build confidence. If a platform isn't active, don't link it.
