# Email Marketing

> Grow your subscriber list and send campaigns that keep your audience coming back

# Email Marketing

Every user who plans a trip through your embedded planner, visits your Linktree, or signs up through your profile can join your subscriber list. Rooutie's built-in email tools let you grow that list, send beautifully designed campaigns, and track exactly how they perform — no external email tool required.

## Subscribers

Go to **Email → Subscribers** to manage your mailing list.

### Your List at a Glance

Four stats tell you the health of your list instantly:

* **Total Subscribers** — everyone who has ever signed up.
* **Active Subscribers** — people currently receiving your emails.
* **Unsubscribed** — people who have opted out.
* **Unsubscribe Rate** — the percentage who've unsubscribed (keep this low!).

### Subscription Trends Chart

An area chart showing new subscriber growth over time. Switch between **Last 30 days**, **Last 60 days**, and **Last 90 days** to see how your audience is growing. Hover over the chart to see exact numbers for any date.

### Subscriber Table

The full list of every subscriber with:

* Email address.
* Status (Active or Unsubscribed).
* Source — where they signed up from (embedded planner, Linktree, direct profile, etc.).
* Subscription date.
* Unsubscription date (if applicable).
* Manual unsubscribe option.

Search by email address to find specific subscribers. The list paginates in groups of 20.

### Export Your List

Click **Export CSV** to download your entire subscriber list as a CSV file — useful for importing into other tools or keeping records.

## Email Templates

Go to **Email → Email Templates** to create and manage your email designs.

Available template types:

* **Newsletter** — regular content updates and round-ups.
* **Destination Spotlight** — feature a specific destination with imagery and trip links.
* **Trip Announcement** — launch a new guide or itinerary.
* **Special Offer** — promote a deal, discount, or limited-time offer.

Use a preset template as your starting point, or build a custom design from scratch. Templates support rich content, images, links, and your brand colors.

## Sending a Campaign

Go to **Email → Send Campaign** to compose and send to your list.

The campaign wizard takes you through:

1. **Choose a template** — pick from your saved templates.
2. **Compose** — write your subject line and content.
3. **Select recipients** — send to your full list or a specific segment.
4. **Preview** — see exactly how it looks before it goes out.
5. **Send or Schedule** — send immediately or schedule for a specific date and time.

## Email Analytics

Go to **Email → Email Analytics** to see how your campaigns performed:

* **Open rate** — how many recipients opened the email.
* **Click-through rate** — how many clicked at least one link.
* **Bounce rate** — how many emails failed to deliver.
* **Unsubscribes** — how many people opted out after this campaign.
* **Campaign comparison** — benchmark one campaign against another.

Use these numbers to refine your subject lines, content, and sending times over time.
