# Business Info

> Set up the core details of your business profile

# Business Info

Your business info is the foundation of your Rooutie presence. It's the factual layer beneath your branding — what your business is called, what it does, and how to get in touch. Get this right from the start.

## What to Fill In

### Business Name

Your official business name. This is used in contracts, receipts, and platform communications — make sure it matches your registered name.

### Business Description

A clear, professional description of your business. This appears in platform-level contexts (not your public marketing description — that's in [Branding](/business-manual/branding)). Think of this as your "about" text for the record, not your sales pitch.

### Contact Information

* **Email address** — your primary business contact email.
* **Phone number** — optional but recommended for clients who want to call before booking.
* **Physical address** — your business address (relevant for agents and accommodation providers).

### Operating Hours

If applicable, add your operating hours — particularly useful for accommodation businesses who need to communicate check-in times and reception availability.

### Location Details

Your primary business location. This is used to contextualise your profile geographically — where your business operates from.

## Keeping It Updated

Your business info should reflect your current details at all times. Outdated contact information is one of the most common reasons potential clients disengage — if your email doesn't work, they won't try again.

Update your info any time your details change via **Business → Business Info** in your dashboard.
